About Us

The call for healing is always about an imbalance on some level

An injustice, wrongdoing or a traumatic event that may be disconnecting us from Spirit, earth, our bodies, others and ourselves. This work is about listening deeply to all the stories being held in country, across history and cultures and timelines and in our bodies. Allowing all the dimensions of wellbeing, the physical, emotional, mental spiritual, and environmental to come back into connection with everything again.

ABOUT THE WORK: Core Cellular Healing

Core & Cellular healing is a unique and powerful form of healing from Ireland rooted in the ancient pre-Celtic spiritual tradition dating back 4000 years.

Through active living mystic prayer, music, invocation and healing incantations, an old practice of deep listening and intuition is brought out from all our collective Indigenous ancestors, places and traditions. The transmutation process releases old configurations of trauma, sickness and dead energy and breathes new, fresh life back into the whole body, mind and soul.

By clearing and purifying the core cellular memory, where trauma and programming is stored at its origins, we can release permanently the patterning, behaviours and old stagnant and deadened energy that no longer serves us. This affects every aspect and level of ourselves, breathing new life, energy, passion and creativity into the body.

Every cell carries memory which holds and stores impressions of everything we ever experience. This imprinting is like a complex matrix of mind sets, belief systems, ways of the world that we have been taught as children, and given from birth, from society, from our family experience, cultural conditioning, ancestors, etc.  All this programming may not be congruent with what our soul has come to experience, discover or explore.

As the energy melts into the body it starts to expose, release and dissolve anything that is not based on love, expansion and growth of consciousness. Old configurations, contractions and imprints of sickness and disease, old ways of thinking, old ways of being that we evolve past, quickly dismantle and release.

Often, we can feel a deep tingling or shaking as the old traumas of our past experiences let go and our passion and soul expansion, and a profound feeling of being plugged into active vibrant life, pours powerfully back into the body.  As we regain our health, the vitality in our body re-emerges as a vibrant shining or illumination through the skin.

The tiredness and deadness of the old memories that we carried in our cells rapidly and permanently becomes a thing of the past. The transmutation continues for days and sometimes months afterwards. The effects and benefits are permanent.

ABOUT ALISON

Alison Burrell is a mother of 12 and grandmother of 3. From her experience of raising a family and the challenges that brings, with disabilities and health challenges in the family, it set her on a path to seek out alternatives to healing and wellbeing. From an early age, Alison dedicated herself to learning healing ways to create a better, safer world for our children and young ones to come.

For over 20 years she has been deeply immersed in learning the healing traditions of her many mixed ancestral lineages including Celtic, pre-Celtic Irish, Nordic and Australian First Nations traditions. She gratefully acknowledges the many teachers, in particular Ger Lyons ( http://www.gerlyons.net/ ) and other elders who have inspired her and generously shared their wisdoms over the years. Alison has family connections to Wiradjuri country, where her grandmother was born but connects deeply to Dharug country (Hawkesbury River NSW) where she grew up. She is now living and working on Wurundjeri country in Melbourne since 2004. Since having the opportunity to travel to her ancestral country of Ireland she has strengthened her connections there. Alison has travelled back repeatedly doing healing work both for herself and others, offering people ways of reconnecting to their roots, and wisdom of the ancient traditions.

Her traditional healing work is coupled with years of studies, research and professional experience working with families, groups, and communities. Alison has a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Family Therapy, Bachelor of Applied Science in Health Promotions and a Master of Indigenous Studies based on Professor Judy Atkinson’s We Al Li program.

In her professional capacity she has been working with the Bouverie's First Nations Team in the Family Therapy Program for several years. She has been working with Children and Families in the Workin’ with the Mob Clinical Program for the last 10 years and in the Strengthening Connections Project in Victoria’s Women’s Prisons for the last 2 years. Since 2018, she has also been involved in The Healing the Past by Nurturing the Future project, an Aboriginal led University research project, which recognises ongoing oppression and intergenerational trauma (particularly forced removal of children) for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and aims to actively contribute to recovery. Alison is a qualified lead facilitator for the We Al Li Training Programs, ( https://www.wealli.com.au/ ) developed by Professor Judy Atkinson’s which focuses on a greater understanding of worldviews and builds awareness of effective ways of working with individuals, families, and communities around trauma.

In addition to this work, she has travelled to different communities and countries within Australia, and internationally to Ireland and Bosnia running trauma recovery and healing workshops. Alison also highlights other overlooked aspects of trauma include grief work as under the anger and pain is the grief. While working in the Residential Care Space Alison often saw this with the young people, under their heightened expressions of rage was a lot of loss and grief that was barely acknowledged. From this piece of work with the young people, she continues to advise and support Child Protection and Child and Family workers on the foundational need for trauma informed approaches throughout all sectors. Alison believes that advocating for these crucial changes on all levels, starts with healing ourselves, this is what will bring the change within our families, our communities and our wider workspaces.

ABOUT ALISON’S WORKSHOPS

In her workshops, Alison shares with us the ancient practice of deep listening that is still inside all of us from all our collective Indigenous ancestors’ old ways of communal living and supports each person to find their unique place and role in the world. The workshops can support each of us to reconnect to these old ways of being, to return to this sense of wholeness and belonging. This work combines active living mystic prayer with ancient Druidic, Pre-Celtic and Indigenous healing Medicine. With the use of Invocation and healing incantation, combined with a safe, respectful space of Inner Deep Listening, you will be led into a space of profound healing and transformation.

Alison has a deep understanding of how trauma is passed on through generations and can introduce us to old ways of releasing these patterns and memories of these old stories still held in us. Remembering your ancestral lineages and connecting to the lands they walked on is also a core component of these processes. To stand tall and be strengthened by these connections. To use them as anchors to hold us and carry us into the future.

Alison respectfully works through whatever spiritual or cultural beliefs a person is part of. She has a deep respect for differences and demonstrates a genuine curiosity to truly understand each other’s perspectives and embrace this diversity and richness of our human experiences.

In her healing workshops, Alison facilitates a safe space to support each of us in becoming the best version of ourselves to give our best service to our families and communities.
